NATALIE BROWN – MIDNIGHT SOUL SISTERS

Natalie Brown is available to provide the following performances:

– RnB/Soul divas tribute – including popular songs from Whitney, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis, Diana Ross, Alicia Keys and others
– Jazz/chilled lounge

Biography and location:
Based in south Birmingham. Natalie has been singing in various covers bands and writing and performing her own songs since the age of 18, however decided to leave her career as a secondary school teacher last year to work professionally as a singer. Natalie has current experience as a solo performer, a lead vocalist in several covers bands, a backing vocalist in a Jamiroquai tribute and a Whitney Houston tribute, experience providing dep vocals for band gigs and experience recording session vocals (lead and backing). All of her experience at this stage is UK based.She loves performing and she is happiest when on stage; She can’t stop smiling!

We would describe her voice as smooth and soulful with a mezzo-soprano vocal register (however, Natalie’s range extends beyond the lowest and highest notes of this register). She includes a wide repertoire in her solo sets (unless venue requests otherwise) to try and get as many audience members as possible up on the dance floor and can provide music inbetween sets ( if required ).

Natalie is also available to book as a duo, accompanied by a pianist (usually playing keyboards unless the venue has a piano in-house), or as a duo with guitarist accompaniment. Natalie is a self-taught singer. Natalie is also studying for music theory, vocal and keyboard qualifications to supplement her performance experience.
