Although Abbey’s parents were born in Sierra Leone, West Africa, a country he has visited many times, Abbey was born and brought up in South London.
He decided to move north in early 1991 as he was impressed with the Great Northern “Spirit.”
Coming from a musical background Abbey was formerly lead singer with a band called “Life N Soul” as well as being an excellent DJ at a local radio station and performer with “Megatone Sound International.” His list of achievements goes on and he has helped raise funds for such worthy charities as Macmillan Nurses , Help the Heroes and Anthony Nolan.
Abbey’s singing style is varied and includes Soul, Motown and Reggae as well as more popular music. When not singing he carries on the duties of DJ with music ranging from the 50’s right through to the 00’s.
Abbey Roadz desire is ensure that he makes each event memorable; that he achieves his full potential and performs at the highest level.
