Being on stage is what feels ‘real’ to me. When I’m about to perform, I feel alive, nervous, and comfortable all at the same time. It’s an all consuming experience for that moment, I am lost in the music, the emotion of the lyrics, and ability to truly transfer my interpretation of a song.

In October 2014, 10 months after starting my solo career I entered Brand New Artist 2015, a UK wide competition. I was fortunate to finish in the top 10, and to achieve that in a national competition less than a year into my career, was a massive success and privilege for me! I am humbled by the amount of encouragement that I received throughout the competition – receiving many votes from people I didn’t even know, who enjoyed my music. I am thankful for my families unconditional support, and the loyalty of the following I am developing.

I am seeing familiar faces at various gigs, showing that people enjoy what I do and are happy to travel out of their locality to watch me perform, for which I am so grateful. I LOVE doing what I do! Ultimately, my dream is to be in a recording studio, creating pieces that are timeless, reaching people all over the world.
