Stephen James and his stunning Frankie Valli tribute show spans three decades of music, the show features all of the hits of Frankie Valli both as a solo performer and as part of The Four Seasons, including: Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Ragdoll, Lets Hang On, Working My Way Back To You Bye Bye Baby, The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore, Silence Is Golden, Beggin, Cant Take My Eyes Off You, My Eyes Adored You, Who Loves You (pretty baby), December 63 (Oh What A Night), Grease (Is The Word) and many more…
Stephen James is super talented and really is the nearest thing to Frankie Valli as you are ever likely to hear, re-creating that trademark falsetto and accent with absolute perfection, along with slick moves, he simply oozes charisma.
In the music business for more than 15 years, Stephen has been involved with many successful artists, songwriters and producers. In 2003 he was managed by Biglife Records in London, who boast successes with The Verve, Badly Drawn Boy, De La Soul, Mark Morrison, Lisa Stansfield and Shola Ama, to name a few. During this time he worked with Rod Gammon (producer for Liberty X, Rick Astley), Rik Wilde (Kim Wilde’s brother and writer of Kids In America), Connor Reeves (singer/songwriter, Earthbound, My Father’s Son etc.) and Nicole Formescu (songwriter for boyband Blue and also the mother of Jimmy Ruffin’s granddaughter), to name but a few. Stephen was dubbed The Brummie Gary Barlow by Take Thats original manager Nigel Martin Smith, a title he accepts as a massive compliment. He also has appeared on TV, notably for his performance on BBC1’s “Star For A Night” with Jane McDonald, the same show that made Joss Stone famous. Stephen has also supported Gareth Gates in concert. Stephen’s talent speaks for itself, vocally, visually and creatively. You just have to see it to believe it.

In the music business for nearly 15 years, prior to creating TFVS, Stephen has been involved with many sucessful songwriters and producers. In 2003 he was managed by Paul Kennedy at Biglife Records in London, who boast successes with The Verve, Badly Drawn Boy, De La Soul, Mark Morrison, Lisa Stansfield and Shola Ama, to name a few.
During this time he worked with Rod Gammon (producer for Liberty X, Rick Astley), Rik Wilde (Kim Wilde’s brother and writer of Kids In America), Connor Reeves (singer/songwriter, had big album in late 90’s with Earthbound) and Nicole Formescu (one of the various songwriters for Blue and also the mother of Jimmy Ruffin’s granddaughter).
He was also dubbed “The Brummie Gary Barlow” by Take That’s original manager Nigel Martin Smith, a title that he jokingly says he wasn’t too sure about at the time, but one that he has now come to accept as a massive compliment.
He also has some TV work on his CV, for his performance on BBC1’s “Star For A Night” with Jane McDonald, the same show that made Joss Stone famous. Stephen’s talent speaks for itself, and he has definitely found his niche in The Frankie Valli Story.
