STARBURST is a Midlands based duo combining two of the area’s most seasoned, professional performers, guitarists/vocalists

Johnny Crossley and Jem Van Lachterop.

John and Jem have both been performing for many decades and are well experienced in working with theatre shows, in cabaret, clubs, events or music bars ……..………. and they’ve now worked together in shows, bands or duos for well over 12 years. They were previously well accustomed to working all over the UK with their own acts/bands and this has continued to be the case ever since they met…… and more recently, even venturing into Spain.

With a wealth of material from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and beyond, from Rock’n Roll to Pop’n Soul & Motown, they can offer sets which guarantee to either ‘fill a dance floor’ or captivate a seated audience ‘cabaret style’ …… Also, thanks to John’s unique vocals, they can authentically theme an evening to the music of Buddy Holly, Elvis, Billy Fury or Cliff and The Shadows if requested.

But whether it’s playing to audiences in a prestigious theatre 200 miles away or for a fun night at the local Kings Head Inn, both members of STARBURST thrive on one essential ingredient ‘the love of performing
